Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.07 per cent at 80,598 and the Nifty-50 up 0.05 per cent at 24,631. About 1,754 shares have advanced, 2,310 shares have declined and 151 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.19 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.59 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Muthoot Finance Ltd, Coromandel International Ltd, Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd and Endurance Technologies Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Rishabh Instruments Ltd, Everest Kanto Cylinder Ltd, Hindware Home Innovation Ltd and Rico Auto Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Focused IT Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index were the Top Losers.

As of August 14, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 445 lakh crore or USD 5.08 trillion. On the same day, 122 stocks hit a 52-week high while 106 stocks touched a 52-week low.
