Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.84 per cent at 81,274 and the Nifty-50 up 1 per cent at 24,877. About 2,560 shares have advanced, 1,631 shares have declined and 174 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.39 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Ashok Leyland Ltd, Relaxo Footwears Ltd, Godrej Industries Ltd and Endurance Technologies Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Pennar Industries Ltd, IFB Industries Ltd, Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd and Prince Pipes & Fittings Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Auto Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of August 18, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 451 lakh crore or USD 5.16 trillion. On the same day, 156 stocks hit a 52-week high while 116 stocks touched a 52-week low.
