Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.19 per cent at 80,718 and the Nifty-50 up 0.08 per cent at 24,734. About 1,809 shares have advanced, 2,325 shares have declined and 146 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.60 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.60 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Gillette India Ltd, Emami Ltd, Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd and Vishal Mega Mart Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Atul Auto Ltd, Aditya Vision Ltd, Electronics Mart India Ltd and SG Mart Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Consumer Discretionary Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Utilities Index were the Top Losers.

As of September 03, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 451 lakh crore or USD 5.12 trillion. On the same day, 141 stocks hit a 52-week high while 50 stocks touched a 52-week low.
