Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Monday with the Sensex down 0.15 per cent at 81,786 and the Nifty-50 down 0.18 per cent at 25,069. About 2,333 shares have advanced, 1,885 shares have declined and 171 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.40 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.66 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Piramal Enterprises Ltd, Tata Communications Ltd, NHPC Ltd and Tube Investments of India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Banco Products (India) Ltd, Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd, Anant Raj Ltd and Gokul Agro Resources Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Realty Index and BSE Industrials Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of September 15, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 460 lakh crore or USD 5.21 trillion. On the same day, 149 stocks hit a 52-week high while 64 stocks touched a 52-week low.
