Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Tuesday with the Sensex up 0.73 per cent at 82,381 and the Nifty-50 up 0.68 per cent at 25,239. About 2,513 shares have advanced, 1,603 shares have declined and 193 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.62 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.66 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were GMR Airports Ltd, JSW Infrastructure Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd and Premier Energies Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Redington Ltd, Sindhu Trade Links Ltd, Orient Technologies Ltd and Allcargo Terminals Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Healthcare Index were the Top Losers.

As of September 16, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 463 lakh crore or USD 5.26 trillion. On the same day, 155 stocks hit a 52-week high while 55 stocks touched a 52-week low.
