Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.72 per cent at 81,790 and the Nifty-50 up 0.74 per cent at 24,078. About 1,827 shares have advanced, 2,453 shares have declined and 169 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.68 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.20 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Fortis Healthcare Ltd, Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd, FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd and Delhivery Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were KIOCL Ltd, Orient Technologies Ltd, India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd and Repro India Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Focused IT Index and BSE IT Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Commodities Index were the Top Losers.

As of October 06, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 460 lakh crore or USD 5.18 trillion. On the same day, 201 stocks hit a 52-week high while 117 stocks touched a 52-week low.
