Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Tuesday with the Sensex up 0.17 per cent at 81,927 and the Nifty-50 up 0.12 per cent at 25,108. About 1,843 shares have advanced, 2,320 shares have declined and 159 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.45 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.15 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indraprastha Gas Ltd, Bharti Hexacom Ltd, Star Health & Allied Insurance Company Ltd and Crisil Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Indraprastha Medical Corporation Ltd, Panorama Studios International Ltd, Avalon Technologies Ltd and Mindteck (India) Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Realty Index and BSE Telecommunication Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Services Index were the Top Losers.

As of October 07, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 460 lakh crore or USD 5.19 trillion. On the same day, 175 stocks hit a 52-week high while 130 stocks touched a 52-week low.
