Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.35 per cent at 82,030 and the Nifty-50 down 0.32 per cent at 25,146. About 1,336 shares have advanced, 2,871 shares have declined and 127 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.74 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.95 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Tata Communications Ltd, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA) and Premier Energies Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Repro India Ltd, MTAR Technologies Ltd, Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd and Websol Energy System Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the red with the BSE Telecommunication Index, BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index, jumping over 1 per cent each.

As of October 14, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 459 lakh crore or USD 5.17 trillion. On the same day, 133 stocks hit a 52-week high while 153 stocks touched a 52-week low.
