Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.15 per cent at 84,556 and the Nifty-50 up 0.09 per cent at 25,891. About 1,855 shares have advanced, 2,407 shares have declined and 127 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,290.06 on October 23, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,104.20 on October 23, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.15 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.42 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Bharat Forge Ltd, Bank of India, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd and Indraprastha Gas Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Bhageria Industries Ltd, Kitex Garments Ltd, Arihant Capital Markets Ltd and Oriental Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Services Index and BSE Telecommunication Index were the Top Losers.

As of October 23, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 470 lakh crore or USD 5.35 trillion. On the same day, 221 stocks hit a 52-week high while 60 stocks touched a 52-week low.
