Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.63 per cent at 84,680 and the Nifty-50 down 0.64 per cent at 25,860. About 1,650 shares have advanced, 2,520 shares have declined and 158 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,310 on November 27, 2025.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.78 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.69 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Supreme Industries Ltd, Astral Ltd, Bharti Hexacom Ltd and Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Amines & Plasticisers Ltd, Epack Durable Ltd, New Delhi Television Ltd and Lloyds Enterprises Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Telecommunication Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Bankex Index were the Top Losers.

As of December 16, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 468 lakh crore or USD 5.14 trillion. On the same day, 100 stocks hit a 52-week high while 135 stocks touched a 52-week low.
