Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.02 per cent at 84,675 and the Nifty-50 up 0.01 per cent at 25,939. About 1,918 shares have advanced, 2,260 shares have declined and 169 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,310 on November 27, 2025.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.05 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.20 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were National Aluminium Company Ltd, Jindal Stainless Ltd, Steel Authority of India Ltd and Bank of Maharashtra. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Orient Technologies Ltd, KPI Green Energy Ltd, Silver Touch Technologies Ltd and Indo Count Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE PSU Bank Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of December 30, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 472 lakh crore or USD 5.25 trillion. On the same day, 108 stocks hit a 52-week high while 195 stocks touched a 52-week low.
