Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.04 per cent at 85,189 and the Nifty-50 up 0.06 per cent at 26,147. About 2,211 shares have advanced, 1,952 shares have declined and 172 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,310 on November 27, 2025.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.27 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.02 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Ajanta Pharma Ltd, Supreme Industries Ltd, Godrej Industries Ltd and Ola Electric Mobility Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Kross Ltd, 5paisa Capital Ltd, Entero Healthcare Solutions Ltd and Quality Power Electrical Equipments Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Energy Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Healthcare Index and BSE FMCG Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 01, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 477 lakh crore or USD 5.30 trillion. On the same day, 184 stocks hit a 52-week high while 172 stocks touched a 52-week low.
