Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.36 per cent at 83,878 and the Nifty-50 up 0.42 per cent at 25,790. About 1,569 shares have advanced, 2,724 shares have declined and 192 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.41 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.68 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Premier Energies Ltd, Linde India Ltd, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd and SJVN Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Faze Three Ltd, IFCI Ltd, Centum Electronics Ltd, GMR Power & Urban Infra Ltd and Dredging Corporation of India Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE Commodities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 12, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 470 lakh crore or USD 5.20 trillion. On the same day, 82 stocks hit a 52-week high while 532 stocks touched a 52-week low.
