Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Monday with the Sensex down 0.39 per cent at 83,246 and the Nifty-50 down 0.42 per cent at 25,586. About 1,231 shares have advanced, 3,071 shares have declined and 181 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.43 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.28 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were JSW Infrastructure Ltd, PB Fintech Ltd, Hitachi Energy India Ltd and Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Jindal Saw Ltd, Baazar Style Retail Ltd, Welspun Enterprises Ltd and Frontier Springs Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Energy Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 19, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 465 lakh crore or USD 5.12 trillion. On the same day, 97 stocks hit a 52-week high while 438 stocks touched a 52-week low.
