Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.49 per cent at 82,307 and the Nifty-50 up 0.53 per cent at 25,290. About 2,951 shares have advanced, 1,280 shares have declined and 154 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.28 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.13 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Bank, Bank of India, Astral Ltd and Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Lotus Chocolate Company Ltd, Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd, Transworld Shipping Lines Ltd and Rallis India Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Capital Goods Index and BSE Industrials Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 22, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 454 lakh crore or USD 4.96 trillion. On the same day, 59 stocks hit a 52-week high while 916 stocks touched a 52-week low.
