Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Friday with the Sensex down 0.36 per cent at 82,270 and the Nifty-50 down 0.39 per cent at 25,321. About 2,424 shares have advanced, 1,783 shares have declined and 160 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index down 0.09 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index up 1.25 per cent. The top 100 mid-cap index gainers were Vodafone Idea Ltd, Blue Star Ltd, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd and Honeywell Automation India Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were RHI Magnesita India Ltd, SignatureGlobal India Ltd, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd and OneSource Specialty Pharma Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Healthcare Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Commodities Index and BSE Metals Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 30, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 460 lakh crore or USD 5 trillion. On the same day, 78 stocks hit a 52-week high while 291 stocks touched a 52-week low.
