Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Monday with the Sensex up 1.17 per cent at 81,666 and the Nifty-50 up 1.06 per cent at 25,088. About 2,039 shares have advanced, 2,220 shares have declined and 169 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index up 0.86 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index up 0.28 per cent. The top 100 mid-cap index gainers were Premier Energies Ltd, Waaree Energies Ltd, UPL Ltd and Hitachi Energy India Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Latent View Analytics Ltd, Mangalore Refinery And Petrochemicals Ltd, Godrej Agrovet Ltd and Campus Activewear Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Power Index and BSE Utilities Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 01, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 455 lakh crore or USD 4.97 trillion. On the same day, 76 stocks hit a 52-week high while 360 stocks touched a 52-week low.
