Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.09 per cent at 83,818 and the Nifty-50 up 0.19 per cent at 25,776. About 2,712 shares have advanced, 1,490 shares have declined and 164 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index up 0.61 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index up 0.54 per cent. The top 150 mid-cap index gainers were Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd, Kaynes Technology India Ltd, Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd and NMDC Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Sheela Foam Ltd, BLS International Services Ltd, Gabriel India Ltd and Sapphire Foods India Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Utilities Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 04, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 469 lakh crore or USD 5.18 trillion. On the same day, 89 stocks hit a 52-week high while 90 stocks touched a 52-week low.
