Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.60 per cent at 83,314 and the Nifty-50 down 0.52 per cent at 25,643. About 1,737 shares have advanced, 2,447 shares have declined and 158 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index down 0.43 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index down 0.81 per cent. The top 150 mid-cap index gainers were PB Fintech Ltd, Jubilant Foodworks Ltd, Cummins India Ltd and Page Industries Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Sapphire Foods India Ltd, Devyani International Ltd, Aditya Birla Real Estate Ltd and Inventurus Knowledge Solutions Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE PSU Bank Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Capital Goods Index and BSE Metals Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 05, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 467 lakh crore or USD 5.16 trillion. On the same day, 75 stocks hit a 52-week high while 94 stocks touched a 52-week low.
