Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.79 per cent at 83,277 and the Nifty-50 up 0.83 per cent at 25,683. About 1,792 shares have advanced, 2,503 shares have declined and 197 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index up 0.64 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index down 0.16 per cent. The top 150 mid-cap index gainers were GMR Airports Ltd, L&T Finance Ltd, Crisil Ltd and Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Engineers India Ltd, Natco Pharma Ltd, RHI Magnesita India Ltd and BLS International Services Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Utilities Services Index and BSE Power Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Auto Index and BSE Consumer Discretionary Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 16, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 468 lakh crore or USD 5.16 trillion. On the same day, 106 stocks hit a 52-week high while 211 stocks touched a 52-week low.
