Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Tuesday with the Sensex up 0.21 per cent at 83,451 and the Nifty-50 up 0.17 per cent at 25,725. About 2,437 shares have advanced, 1,763 shares have declined and 152 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index up 0.31 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index up 0.86 per cent. The top 150 mid-cap index gainers were One 97 Communications Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd, Cochin Shipyard Ltd and Thermax Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Newgen Software Technologies Ltd, OneSource Specialty Pharma Ltd, Praj Industries Ltd and Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Industrials Index and BSE IT Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Commodities Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 17, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 470 lakh crore or USD 5.18 trillion. On the same day, 116 stocks hit a 52-week high while 144 stocks touched a 52-week low.
