Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.34 per cent at 83,734 and the Nifty-50 up 0.37 per cent at 25,819. About 2,237 shares have advanced, 1,955 shares have declined and 191 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index up 0.50 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index up 0.39 per cent. The top 150 mid-cap index gainers were Godfrey Phillips India Ltd, Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd, Marico Ltd and Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Transformers & Rectifiers India Ltd, Netweb Technologies India Ltd, Schneider Electric Infrastructure Ltd and Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE PSU Bank Index and BSE Metals Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 19, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 472 lakh crore or USD 5.20 trillion. On the same day, 112 stocks hit a 52-week high while 100 stocks touched a 52-week low.
