Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Thursday with the Sensex down 1.48 per cent at 82,498 and the Nifty-50 down 1.41 per cent at 25,454. About 1,273 shares have advanced, 2,930 shares have declined and 164 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index down 1.54 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index down 1.16 per cent. The top 150 mid-cap index gainers were Oil India Ltd, Godrej Industries Ltd, UPL Ltd and Godfrey Phillips India Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Newgen Software Technologies Ltd, Tata Investment Corporation Ltd, Netweb Technologies India Ltd and Gravita India Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were traded in red with BSE Auto Index, BSE Capital Goods Index, BSE Power Index, BSE Realty Index and BSE Services Index, which fell over 2 per cent each.

As of February 19, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 465 lakh crore or USD 5.13 trillion. On the same day, 110 stocks hit a 52-week high while 146 stocks touched a 52-week low.
