Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 1.28 per cent at 82,226 and the Nifty-50 down 1.12 per cent at 25,425. About 1,422 shares have advanced, 2,802 shares have declined and 143 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index down 0.40 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index down 0.76 per cent. The top 150 mid-cap index gainers were Endurance Technologies Ltd, Waaree Energies Ltd, Schaeffler India Ltd and IPCA Laboratories Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Natco Pharma Ltd, Fine Organic Industries Ltd, Blue Jet Healthcare Ltd and Bandhan Bank Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Power Index and BSE Metals Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 23, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 466 lakh crore or USD 5.11 trillion. On the same day, 91 stocks hit a 52-week high while 357 stocks touched a 52-week low.
