Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on April 10

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.47 per cent at 75,038, and the Nifty-50 up 0.49 per cent at 22,754. About 1,960 shares have advanced, 1,869 have declined and 105 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 75,124.80 on April 09, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 22,768.40 on April 09, 2024.

The broader markets were in green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.89 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.46 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Macrotech Developers Ltd, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Ramco Systems Ltd, Data Patterns (India) Ltd and Yasho Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Metals Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Utilities Index and BSE Auto Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 402 lakh crore or USD 4.85 trillion as of April 10, 2024. On the same day, 183 stocks hit a 52-week high while 11 stocks touched a 52-week low.
