Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on December 24

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Services Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index were the only top gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Power Index were the top losers.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.09 per cent at 78,473 and the Nifty-50 plunged 0.11 per cent at 23,728. About 1,977 shares have advanced, 2,019 shares have declined and 96 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.09 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index uo 0.37 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Emami Ltd, Solar Industries Ltd and Gillette India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are WPIL Ltd, Greaves Cotton Ltd and Jindal World Wide Ltd.

As of December 24, 2024, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.42 lakh crore or USD 5.18 trillion. On the same day, 170 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 54 stocks touched a 52-week low.
