Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on February 05

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading negative on Monday with the Sensex down 0.49 per cent at 71,731 and the Nifty-50 down 0.38 per cent at 21,772. About 1,817 shares have advanced, 2,136 have declined and 144 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,427.59 on January 16, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,126.80 on February 02, 2024.

The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.02 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.23 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were UCO Bank, Indian Overseas Bank and The New India Assurance Company Ltd. In contrast, Mishtann Foods Ltd, Unichem Laboratories Ltd and Fino Payments Bank Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Energy Index being the only Top Gainers while the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index were the Top Losers.

The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,82,66,456 crore or approx. Rs 383 lakh crore as of February 05, 2024. On the same day, 514 stocks hit a 52-week high while 31 stocks touched a 52-week low.
