Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on February 14

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.37 per cent at 71,823 and the Nifty-50 up 0.45 per cent at 21,840. About 2,426 shares have advanced, 1,425 have declined and 87 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,427.59 on January 16, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,126.80 on February 02, 2024.

The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.26 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.16 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were SJVN Ltd, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and Macrotech Developers Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Housing Urban Development Corporation Ltd, Jubilant Industries Ltd and Dilip Buildcon Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Energy Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Healthcare Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 385 lakh crore or USD 4.63 trillion as of February 14, 2024. On the same day, 224 stocks hit a 52-week high while 41 stocks touched a 52-week low.
