Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on February 15

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.32 per cent at 72,050 and the Nifty-50 up 0.32 per cent at 21,911. About 2,353 shares have advanced, 1,506 have declined and 79 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,427.59 on January 16, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,126.80 on February 02, 2024.

The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.24 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.93 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Oil India Ltd, NMDC Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd, Gensol Engineering Ltd and BCL Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Utilities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods Index and BSE Healthcare Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 387 lakh crore or USD 4.67 trillion as of February 15, 2024. On the same day, 311 stocks hit a 52-week high while 30 stocks touched a 52-week low.
