On Thursday, at 03:30 pm, indices were trading in red with the BSE Sensex Index down 0.31 per cent at 62,428.54 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index down 0.25 per cent at 18,487.75. About 1,875 shares have advanced, 1,615 declined and 121 are unchanged on BSE.

The company's shares saw heavy buying and hit a 10 per cent upper circuit to Rs 18.92 per share with a spurt in volume by more than 1.18 times on BSE. The stock gave multibagger returns of 155 per cent in 2 years and over 400 per cent in 3 years.

Walchandnagar Industries Ltd is a heavy engineering and project execution company and has diversified business offerings across core sectors. The shares of the company saw heavy buying and locked in a 10 per cent upper circuit to Rs 79.39 per share.
