Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on March 14

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.46 per cent at 73,097.28 and the Nifty-50 up 0.70 per cent at 22,151. About 2,722 shares have advanced, 1,153 have declined and 83 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 74,245.17 on March 07, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,525.20 on March 07, 2024.

The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 2.28 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 3.11 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd, Yes Bank and SJVN Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are BLS International Services Ltd, Rama Steel Tubes Ltd and Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the Oil & Gas Index and BSE Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index was the only loser.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 380 lakh crore or USD 4.63 trillion as of March 14, 2024. On the same day, 74 stocks hit a 52-week high while 173 stocks touched a 52-week low.
