Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on November 08

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Friday with the Sensex down 0.07 per cent at 79,486 and the Nifty-50 down 0.21 per cent at 24,148. About 1,396 shares have advanced, 2,573 shares have declined and 95 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.18 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.52 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Hotels Company Ltd, Page Industries Ltd and One 97 Communications Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Vimta Labs Ltd, ITI Ltd and Avalon Technologies Ltd

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Consumer Durablers Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Energy Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.44 lakh crore or USD 5.26 trillion as of November 08, 2024. On the same day, 221 stocks hit a 52-week high while 27 stocks touched a 52-week low.
