The company produced 24,823.509 metric tonnes (MT) of re-bars during August 2026 at its Rolling Mill, supported by the successful commissioning and operationalisation of the Reheating Furnace (RHF).
New Furnace Enhances Production Capacity
The August 2026 production included 17,358.221 MT from the Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) and 7,465.288 MT from the newly operationalised Reheating Furnace. The addition of the RHF has increased the company’s monthly re-bar production capability by approximately 27 per cent, marking a significant improvement in manufacturing capacity.
The company stated that the increased production capability is expected to continue, with the Reheating Furnace providing sustained enhancement to its re-bar manufacturing capacity.
Focus on Higher Capacity Utilisation
The commissioning of the Reheating Furnace marks an important development for Steel Exchange India’s Rolling Mill operations. The RHF contributed 7,465.288 MT to August’s re-bar production, adding significantly to the company’s overall output.
