Sensex gained 156 points throughout the day, closing at 58,222 level. 

Due to encouraging global indications, the domestic markets ended Thursday's session on a stronger note, extending their winning streak for the second straight session. Sensex gained 156 points throughout the day, closing at 58,222 level. Nifty 50 also increased 57 points to end the day at 17,331 level. Bank Nifty index increased 172 points, ending at 39,282 points.  

  

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday, October 7, 2022:  

  

Butterfly Gandhimathi AppliancesThe shares of Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances got locked in the upper circuit and also, made a new 52-week high after gaining more than 10 per cent. The shares traded at Rs 1,817.95 per share on October 6. The company delivered a net sale of Rs 253.50 crore in the last quarter after rising 75.58 per cent QoQ.  

  

Xelpmoc Design and TechThe shares of Xelpmoc Design & Tech reached a 52-week high while also touching the upper circuit. After experiencing a spike in activity, its share price touched Rs 164.60 per share.  

  

Gayatri ProjectsThe shares of Gayatri Projects touched the upper circuit after surging 10 per cent and closing at Rs 10.75 per share. The stock has been gaining for the last two days and delivered 31.71 per cent returns during this period.  

  

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & EngineersFor the past three trading sessions, the stock of Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers touched a new 52-week high. The price of the shares soared 15 per cent during today's trading session to reach Rs 430 per share.
