Indian Hotels Company Q1 FY27 Financial Performance
On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations increased 14.60 per cent YoY to Rs 2,339.19 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 2,041.08 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income rose 15.09 per cent YoY to Rs 2,419.37 crore from Rs 2,102.17 crore.
Profit before tax grew 21.29 per cent YoY to Rs 533.33 crore from Rs 439.82 crore, while consolidated net profit increased 18.67 per cent YoY to Rs 390.81 crore from Rs 329.32 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) improved to Rs 2.51 from Rs 2.08 in the corresponding quarter last year.
Business Performance
During the quarter, the Hotel Services segment generated revenue of Rs 2,044.97 crore, while the Air and Institutional Catering business contributed Rs 296.24 crore. The Hotel Services segment reported profit before tax of Rs 488.04 crore, while the Air and Institutional Catering business posted Rs 45.29 crore, reflecting healthy operating performance across both segments.
Acquisition Update
During the quarter, IHCL completed the acquisition of a 51 per cent equity stake in Brij Hospitality Private Limited through the company and its step-down subsidiaries, ANK Hotels Private Limited and Pride Hospitality Private Limited, for an aggregate consideration of approximately Rs 221.82 crore, including contingent consideration. The acquisition is expected to strengthen the company's presence in the experiential hospitality segment.
