List of stocks that ended close to their 52-week high on Friday
Frontline equity indices closed flat on February 23 after hitting new highs in the early trading as banking shares bled, while investors turned cautious before the release of the GDP numbers along with other data.
The Sensex, after climbing to a new peak of 73,394.44, incurred losses to close 0.02 per cent lower at 73,142.80. The broad-based Nifty50, too, ended 0.02 per cent down at 22,212.70 after touching a new high of 22,297.50.
Top Nifty gainers on Friday were Bajaj Finserv, up 1.5 per cent, followed by SBI Life and HDFC Life, surging 1.4 per cent and 1.1 per cent.
