Several penny stocks outperformed markets even as the BSE Sensex slipped in to the red.
The bullish market saw several stocks gain on Wednesday with a spurt in volume. From the BSE 500 index list we saw ZEEL, Godrej properties, DLF, Inox Leisure, Gujarat Alkali, GFL Ltd, IB Real Estate, Linde India, Century Textiles & Industries, Suven Life Sciences, Sonata Software, Jai Corp , STAR, Phoenix, Balkrishna Industries, Sobha developers, Apollo Tyres, GMDC, LIC Housing Finance, NESCO, Raymond and SUN TV trading higher with a price volume breakout on Wednesday, on closing basis.
Tech Mahindra, a NIFTY 50 stock was also seen trending higher with a spurt in volume on Wednesday.
