These small cap stocks gained while Sensex fell 7 per cent

Sensex tumbled in the last week, owing to myriad factors. Between September 16 and 24, 2020, Sensex crashed by almost 7 per cent or 2,750 points. During a similar period, BSE Small-Cap index tumbled by around 8.18 per cent. Small-Cap stocks thus underperformed in the previous week. 

Investors saw several stocks touching their 52-week lows while many underperformed.

While the negative market sentiment and fall in global indices did spook the investors, certain small-cap stocks managed to shine and give confidence to investors. For investors, it is always profitable to know the pockets that are showing relative strength.
