These outperforming small-caps are trading at record highs after positive price volume breakouts; check if you own any!

The year 2021 can be said to be one of the best years for the broader markets. So far in 2021 alone the BSE SmallCap Index is up by 73.32 per cent. This reflects an outperformance of over 30 per cent to BSE Sensex that has climbed by 43.04 per cent in 2021, so far. 

In the past one month however, the tides have changed for small caps. The BSE SmallCap Index is down by 1.67 per cent while BSE Sensex has gained by 6.41 per cent in the past one month. Several small caps stocks managed to trade at record highs in August, bucking the trend in the broader markets. 

Few small caps such as Apollo Pipes have given a channel breakout on daily chart and is trading at life highs while we have  ABB Power Products with negative earnings and yet trading at fresh 52-week highs, outperforming the markets.
