Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 368.52 points or 0.44 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals slipped by 0.05 per cent, power plunged by 0.08 per cent, and auto dropped by 0.07 per cent.

Meanwhile, Glenmark Life Sciences Ltd, Vesuvius India Ltd, and Anand Rathi Wealth Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Glenmark Life Sciences Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 10.00 per cent to trade at Rs 2,095.65 apiece. Ichnos Glenmark Innovation (IGI) has announced a global commercialisation strategy for its lead oncology asset, ISB 2001, following an exclusive licensing deal with AbbVie. Under the agreement, AbbVie will lead development, manufacturing, and commercialisation in North America, Europe, Japan, and Greater China, while Glenmark Pharmaceuticals will manage development and commercialisation in Emerging Markets. The collaboration aims to expand access to ISB 2001, a trispecific T-cell engager targeting multiple myeloma.

Vesuvius India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 3.82 per cent to trade at Rs 549.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Anand Rathi Wealth Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 3.66 per cent to trade at Rs 2,199.55 apiece. Anand Rathi’s Omni Financial Advisor (OFA) platform reported a rise in its subscriber base of Mutual Fund Distributors and Independent Financial Advisors to 6,627, up from 6,064 last year.
