Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 77.86 points or 0.09 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.21 per cent, power zoomed by 0.02 per cent, and auto surged by 0.35 per cent.
Meanwhile, Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd, IIFL Securities Ltd and Wipro Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 7.12 per cent to trade at Rs 409.90 apiece. Nuvoco Vistas reported its Q1 FY26 results, posting an all-time high first-quarter consolidated EBITDA of Rs 533 crore. Cement volumes rose 6 per cent year-on-year to 5.1 MMT. The company continued its deleveraging efforts, reducing like-to-like net debt by Rs 884 crore to Rs 3,474 crore. It also completed the acquisition of Vadraj Cement Ltd., aiming to expand cement capacity to approximately 31 MMTPA by Q3 FY27.
IIFL Securities Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 5.23 per cent to trade at Rs 340 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Wipro Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 3.50 per cent to trade at Rs 269.35 apiece. Wipro announced its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, reporting large deal bookings of $2.7 billion, up 131 per cent year-on-year, with overall deal bookings at $5.0 billion. Revenue declined 2.3 per cent in constant currency terms, while net income rose 10.9 per cent. Operating margin for Q1FY26 stood at 17.3 per cent, expanding 0.8 per cent year-on-year, and EPS grew 10.8 per cent. Operating cash flows were 123.2 per cent of net income.
