Meanwhile, Safari Industries (India) Ltd, AU Small Finance Bank Ltd and Ingersoll Rand (India) Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Safari Industries (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.56 per cent to trade at Rs 2,229.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

AU Small Finance Bank Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 7.53 per cent to trade at Rs 800.00 apiece. AU Small Finance Bank Ltd has received an in-principle approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to transition from a Small Finance Bank to a Universal Bank. This makes AU the first SFB to secure such approval. The RBI’s decision follows the bank’s application in September 2024 and is based on meeting eligibility criteria, including capital requirements, a satisfactory operational track record, and due diligence. The transition will enable AU to offer a full range of banking products and services across retail, business, and digital segments.

Ingersoll Rand (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE company, advanced 7.22 per cent to trade at Rs 3,899.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
