Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today. 

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 79 points or 0.10 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals dropped by 0.36 per cent, power slipped by 0.07 per cent, and auto surged by 0.46 per cent.

Meanwhile, PDS Ltd, G R Infraprojects Ltd and Ipca Laboratories Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

PDS Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.09 per cent to trade at Rs 349.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

G R Infraprojects Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 6.52 per cent to trade at Rs 1,342.95 apiece. G R Infraprojects Limited has received an LOI from REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd for developing transmission systems to evacuate power from RE projects in Rajgarh (1500 MW) and Neemuch (1000 MW) SEZs in Madhya Pradesh. The Rs 3,670.73 million project, with a 35-year O&M period on BOOT basis, is scheduled for completion within 24 months from SPV acquisition.

Ipca Laboratories Ltd, an S&P BSE company, advanced 6.31 per cent to trade at Rs 1,520.45 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
