Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today. 

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 135 points or 0.16 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.69 per cent, power zoomed by 0.40 per cent, and auto surged by 1.12 per cent.

Meanwhile, JSW Holdings Ltd, Safari Industries (India) Ltd and Godrej Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

JSW Holdings Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.13 per cent to trade at Rs 17,598.80 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Safari Industries (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 4.12 per cent to trade at Rs 2,286.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Godrej Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 3.89 per cent to trade at Rs 1,124.35 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

IPO Today

In the mainboard IPO segment, shares of Canara HSBC Life Insurance Co are set to make their D-Street debut today. Meanwhile, the Midwest IPO enters the final day of subscription.

In the SME space, Sihora Industries, Shlokka Dyes, and SK Minerals & Additives are also set to make their D-Street debut today.
