Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 36 points or 0.04 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.76 per cent, power zoomed by 0.11 per cent, and auto surged by 0.03 per cent.
Meanwhile, Hindustan Copper Ltd, Sterlite Technologies Ltd and Ethos Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Hindustan Copper Ltd, an S&P BSE A-group company, surged 14.00 per cent to trade at Rs 542.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Sterlite Technologies Ltd, an S&P BSE A-group company, climbed 9.40 per cent to trade at Rs 112.85 apiece. Sterlite Technologies Ltd on Friday informed exchanges that India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) has affirmed the credit ratings of its wholly owned subsidiary, Sterlite Tech Cables Solutions Ltd. The rating agency reaffirmed the subsidiary’s Bank loan facilities at IND AA-/Stable/IND A1+, with the total facility size revised to Rs 3,080 million from Rs 3,380 million, indicating stable credit quality and financial position.
Ethos Ltd, an S&P BSE A-group company, advanced 6.11 per cent to trade at Rs 3,188.15 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
