Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 550 points or 0.67 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.54 per cent, power zoomed by 0.57 per cent, and auto surged by 0.78 per cent.

Meanwhile, CSB Bank Limited, Voltamp Transformers Ltd and Eternal Limited emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

 

CSB Bank Limited, an S&P BSE company, surged 7.74 per cent to trade at Rs 504.40 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Voltamp Transformers Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 6.02 per cent to trade at Rs 7,184.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Eternal Limited, an S&P BSE company, gained 5.86 per cent to trade at Rs 300.00 apiece. Eternal (formerly known as Zomato) announced a major leadership change as its founder and Group CEO, Deepinder Goyal, submitted his resignation from the top role. The move will be effective from February 1, 2026, marking one of the most significant transitions in the company’s recent history.
