Meanwhile, Balu Forge Industries Ltd, VIP Industries Ltd and Aurionpro Solutions Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE Group A stocks in today’s trading session.

Balu Forge Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE Group A company, surged 6.92 per cent to trade at Rs 418.75 apiece. Balu Forge Industries Ltd on Thursday announced its induction into the NATO supply chain as a certified supplier of mission-critical, high-precision Defence components, marking a major milestone in its global expansion. The company has received a mandate to manufacture and supply high-specification artillery shell bodies and complex forged components to NATO member states, strengthening India’s position in the global defence manufacturing ecosystem. This development expands Balu Forge’s defence portfolio into advanced artillery and ammunition platforms and is expected to support long-term, high-margin growth by diversifying its global revenue streams, the company said in a statement.

VIP Industries Ltd moved higher by 4.66 per cent, trading at Rs 378.25 in early deals. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

Aurionpro Solutions Ltd gained 3.99 per cent to trade at Rs 946.95 on the BSE. Aurionpro Solutions Ltd on Tuesday announced a major expansion of its smart transit portfolio with its entry into safety-critical Platform Screen Door (PSD) systems, after securing a multi-million-dollar order from Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd for Mumbai Metro Line 5. The order involves the design, supply, commissioning and long-term maintenance of intelligent PSD systems and will be executed in consortium with KTK Group, marking Aurionpro’s first collaboration with Titagarh Rail Systems. This milestone strengthens Aurionpro’s end-to-end urban mobility offerings and deepens its association with Mumbai’s metro network, following earlier wins on Metro Lines 4 and 4A, while expanding its addressable market in India’s fast-growing metro and urban transit infrastructure space.
