Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on the BSE in the pre-opening session today. 

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 119 points or 0.14 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals tumbled by 3.13 per cent, power zoomed by 0.51 per cent, and auto surged by 0.17 per cent.

Meanwhile, IFCI Limited, C.E. Info Systems Limited (MapmyIndia) and SPL Petrochemicals Limited emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

IFCI Limited, an S&P BSE Group A company, surged 8.58 per cent to trade at Rs 59.83 apiece. The Board at its Meeting held on January 29, 2026, has inter-alia approved the Unaudited (standalone and consolidated) Financial Results of the Company for the quarter ended December 31, 2025. 

C.E. Info Systems Limited (MapmyIndia), an S&P BSE Group A company, advanced 5.97 per cent to trade at Rs 1,399.05 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

SPL Petrochemicals Limited, an S&P BSE Group A company, rose 4.43 per cent to trade at Rs 598.80 apiece. The Board has approved the Unaudited (standalone and consolidated) Financial Results of the Company for the quarter ended December 31, 2025.
