Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today. 

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 242 points or 0.29 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals dropped by 0.16 per cent, power plunged by 0.15 per cent, and auto slipped by 0.33 per cent.

Meanwhile, Dalmia Bharat Ltd, NorthArc Capital Ltd and Patel Engineering Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

 

Dalmia Bharat Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 2.73 per cent to trade at Rs 2,146.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

NorthArc Capital Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 2.58 per cent to trade at Rs 252.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Patel Engineering Ltd, an S&P BSE company, advanced 2.54 per cent to trade at Rs 28.64 apiece. Patel Engineering Limited in joint venture has been declared lowest bidder (l1) for an irrigation project of Rs 133.25 crores from Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation.
