Nykaa Q1 FY27 Financial Performance
Nykaa reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 2,782 crore for Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 2,154.94 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering a 29.1 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth. On a sequential basis, revenue increased 5.1 per cent from Rs 2,648.17 crore reported in Q4 FY26. Profit after Tax (PAT) surged 226.0 per cent YoY to Rs 79.76 crore, compared with Rs 24.47 crore in Q1 FY26, while rising 1.3 per cent QoQ from Rs 78.75 crore in the previous quarter. Profit before tax (PBT) increased to Rs 129.16 crore, up 195.5 per cent YoY and 6.3 per cent QoQ.

The company's Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) grew 34 per cent YoY to Rs 5,590 crore, while gross profit increased 33 per cent YoY to Rs 1,276 crore. EBITDA rose 68 per cent YoY to Rs 236 crore, with the EBITDA margin improving to 8.5 per cent from 6.5 per cent in the year-ago period.
Nykaa's Beauty business continued its strong momentum, while the Fashion segment recorded 53 per cent YoY GMV growth. The company also expanded its offline footprint to 324 beauty stores across 105 cities and continued scaling its quick-commerce platform Nykaa NOW, which currently operates in 13 cities and is expected to expand to over 25 cities by the end of FY27.
Acquisition of Aminu
During the quarter, Nykaa announced the acquisition of a 51 per cent stake in Aminu Wellness Private Limited, a premium dermocosmetic skincare brand, for a consideration of up to Rs 32 crore. The acquisition is aimed at strengthening Nykaa's premium skincare portfolio, with the founders continuing to operate the business while Nykaa plans to acquire the remaining stake over the coming years.

Commenting on the results, Falguni Nayar, Executive Chairperson, Founder and CEO, said the company delivered its highest growth momentum and EBITDA margins in the last 12 quarters. She highlighted strong traction from premium beauty brand launches, growth in the fashion business driven by Nike, and the company's AI-led initiatives such as Virtual Closet and AskNykaa, which are enhancing customer engagement and conversion.
